Numerous media organisations, based on information from people aware of the process, have announced that Neera Tanden will be appointed to lead the White House Budget Office, while economist Cecilia Rouse is expected to serve as chairman of the Council of Consultants on Economy.
Mr. Biden has already named former Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen for the post of Secretary of Treasury and is expected to choose William Adeyemo to serve as Mrs. Yellen's principal deputy.
On Sunday, Mr. Biden and Mrs. Harris announced their public communication team, made up of women.
