Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) publishes investment statistics in the company for 2019, where, according to results, construction investments (building and other construction facilities) cover the main weight of 55.7% of investments, under the total investments of companies involved in the survey.
Other investments, which carry considerable weight, are those in machinery and equipment with 36.4%. While, investments in intellectual property products represent 1.5%; cultivated biological investments and greenhouses in agriculture by 0.3%; as well as investments in vulnerable assets (not produced) by 5.9%.
The AKS says that in 2020 it has conducted the survey on Investment Statistics in Enterprises throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, which has declared investment purchases in many annuals of over 50,000 euros.
“According to the size of enterprises: 22..8% of investments, are made by micro companies (1-9 workers); 38.03% in small enterprises (10-49 workers); 20.7% in medium enterprises (50-249 workers); and 18.4% in large enterprises (250 and over workers). According to the results, companies in Pristina region have realised the highest percentage of investments (48.8 %); Prizren region (12.3%); Ferizaj region (10.8%); Pec region (9.04%); Mitrovica region (7.3%); Gjilan region (7.2%); and the Gjakova region (4.2%)”, the report said.
According to the source of investment funds, the results show that 59.1% of investment value, companies have implemented it by their own funds; 32.02% from local bank loans; 3.8 % from local co-investors; 1.7% from foreign co-investors; and 3.2% from other forms.
