The world was watching with surprise when a metal monolith was discovered south of the Utah Desert (Utah) last month in American authorities counting sheep from a helicopter.
Two weeks after the presentation, the monolith was dismantled by four men, even though this was far from clear at first.
But then another appeared, this time around the world (on our side), in Romania. And just like the first monolith, this one disappeared, writes NYpost, translates Periscope.
“The 3m-long facility disappeared overnight in the same quiet form, as it did,” said a local journalist named Robert Iosub.
A third appeared on Wednesday last week, this time in Ataccadero, California.
No one knew who was responsible for the mysterious structures... so far.
Why the origin of monoliths has promoted countless theories from aliens and marketing campaigns, a small community of artists now seems to have claimed responsibility.
This community known as the most famous “Artists” ( The Most Famous Artist posted a picture of a monolith in their account at Instagram.
Later, the group of artists posted photographs on Instagrams of articles made for them by Mashable, Fox News and Artnet, adding another monoli, this time to Joshua Tree National Park.
