Arrested by police who shot at a man in Gracanica

IPK investigators have continued to take investigative action regarding the use of a firearm by a police official today in the evening hours in Gracanica.

The IPK reports that in co-ordination with the caretaker prosecutor and several other police units have completed the investigation of the site.

The police official, who has fired official weapons (of the Gracanica police station) under the prosecutor's decision, has been arrested by the IPK, and the same has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours on suspicion that the same has committed criminal work “causing general risk”, while the IPK has recommended its suspension as part of administrative procedures.

Based on preliminary investigations, IPK investigators suspect that in this case no legal conditions have been met for the use of a firearm by the police official firing in the direction of the car in the direction of the suspect's location, but two more people.

IPK investigators will also investigate the circumstances of escape from the police station of the suspect detained by police.

The IPK in full co-ordination with the Prosecutor will continue to take further investigative action towards the full lighting of all the circumstances related to this case, while information from the KKUK is taught that the wound with firearms is out of danger for life.
