Today's meeting has started with a review of the Order for engagement and setting tariffs for the compensation of translators and interpreters engaged in the prosecutorial system, the regulation, which was also approved by Council members.
The Commission's report on reviewing the objections submitted by candidates for chief prosecutor Gjakova, Gjilan, Prizren and Pec was released and discussed.
After the discussions, the Council has partially adopted this report, which resulted in objections submitted by candidates.
Later, the Council has carried out the voting process for the election of Chief Prosecutor of the Appeals Prosecutor and Prosecutors of the 6 key prosecutors.
The chief prosecutor of the Appeals Prosecutor, with 11 votes to and none against, has been elected Dzevdet Bislimi.
The chief prosecutor of Pec's Constitutional Prosecutor, with 11 votes to and none against, has been elected Agim Kurmehaj.
Ferizaj's chief prosecutor, with 11 votes to and none against, has been elected Shukri Jashar.
The chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor of Mitrovica, with 10 votes to and 1 against, has been elected Ismet Ujkan.
For chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Prizren, the competition took place between prosecutors Admir Shala and Ervehe Gashi, where after the voting process Admir Shala has been elected chief prosecutor of this prosecutor by 7 votes. While against his candidate, he received four votes.
For the chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecution in Gjilan, the race took place in the midst of prosecutors Arben Kadriu and Agron Uka, where, after the voting process, Arben Kadriu has been elected chief prosecutor of this prosecutor by 6 votes. While against his candidate, he received 5 votes.
And for Gjakova's Constitutional Prosecutor, the contest will be restolled because chief prosecutor Ardita Beqiray-Hyseni was not voted for the post.
At the end of the meeting, the Council approved the Commission's report on the review of the performance of four prosecutors.
