The Democratic Party of Kosovo is not blackmailed, nor will it allow anyone to take the state of Kosovo hostage. We are willing to sit down and talk with every paramilitary political party to overcome the institutional crisis in the country and elect a dignified president who serves internal unity and deepens partnership with our allies. But, the PDK will not become part of a process that would produce a president that deepens internal divisions and isolates Kosovo abroad.
Our Republic is above political interests and personal egos. Anyone who seeks the votes of PDK deputies in the Kosovo Assembly must understand once and for all, that the PDK's candidate is within that proposal!
Barricaming behind individual proposals, still without a political discussion between parliamentary parties, is harmful and does not help overcome the crisis, but only deepening it.
