Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti has written a letter to Special Court Judge Nicolas Guillou.
In this letter bearing December 1st, Kurti has asked Guillo to have Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group chief Rexhep Selimi released on bail.
Kurt has been talking about Selim and the report with him, saying that since he met him, he has been punctual in his duties.
“Rexep Selimi as a citizen and citizen of Kosovo has shown maximum respect and has always acted in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Kosovo. Any claim raised regarding the fact that he can present danger of escape conflicts with Rexhepi's character and our experience. For all those who know Rexhepi (including me) it is unimaginable that he can perform such an act”, the letter written by Kurti says.
I swear by the hope that you as judge will take into account all recognition of Rexhepi's character and integrity when you judge his parole request”, the letter concludes.
