The Vetevendosje movement, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo are praising Thursday's meeting in Brussels -- between Kosovo and Serbia -- failed and useless. Restarting dialogue, as they call it on technical topics, will bring nothing to the country.

While Albin Kurti's party and Ramush Haradinaj require stoppage, simultaneously without dialogue, in Enver Hoxhaj's party say it is the government's duty to fulfil its obligations in relation to dialogue with Serbia. And government officials reason on the expert meeting in Brussels, while saying Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti will not fall prey to any political and public pressure to halt dialogue. Meanwhile, the European Union does not provide details on when the next summit in Brussels could take place.

Vetevendosje Movement spokesman Progress Kryeziu says that under these circumstances and the format that is developing the dialogue cannot succeed.

According to him, only with a legitimate prime minister after the new elections could there be a process of framework dialogue and clear goals for Kosovo.

“in these circumstances and this developmental format is not useful for the country. Dialogue cannot be successfully guided by a minority government, as it does not have 61 votes in the Assembly and is a government without legitimacy. Those who are representing us at these meetings have trouble speaking on behalf of citizens because they are not chosen by them. Therefore, we consider that even for this process, the country must go into elections as soon as possible. A new government with a legitimate prime minister will be formed and then we can have a democratic process of dialogue with a clear framework, clear demands and clear goals for Republika”, he says.

Critical for the dialogue process, PDK deputy Blerta Deliu-Codra said the government is wasting time with technical issues in the dialogue.

The meeting in Brussels as expected has been failed, and that is what Mr. Hyseni himself said. The Serbian side has continued with its arrogance and has not been constructive at this meeting. We consider how the PDK is wasting time with technical issues and technical themes... It is the government's duty to fulfil its obligations in relation to dialogue. As a party that is in opposition we will be there to see if the government is carrying out its commitments and is engaged that this process does not last indefinitely”, she declares.

While, the overall lack of dialogue requires AAK MP, Time Kadrijaj, whose party is in the ruling coalition with the LDK.

These circumstances are also asking for a pause (dialog) but to consider what to dialogue with. Dialogue also what Kosovo is one and saw all. There's a division, there's a boss, there's association with executive competencies... we unfortunately have a lot of agreements that have been reached in Brussels mediated by the EU, but full of agreements that are not being improvised. Most of them are being hampered by the Serbian side”, she says.

But these pressures, according to LDK deputy Faton Bislimi, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti will not fall prey.

Until it says dialogue with Serbia is the process which must be completed, as there is no other option.

“Dialog is the process that needs to be completed, there is no alternative in the final phase of solving the problems we have with Serbia. We know it's not an easy process, we know we're dealing with an aggressive state that's not yet de discriminated against the past that's behind it. This weighs the burden of dialogue, but we hope that Kosovo in co-operation with international partners will manage to complete this process.11:25 I don't believe Prime Minister Hoti falls prey to any public and political pressure. Above all, it is no privilege in this situation, nor has it been a privilege to take the burden of Kosovo's rule in this situation, but it is a responsibility. I have no doubt that Prime Minister Hoti will hold this responsibility in the most serious way possible”, he says.

And in a response to Kosova Prees from the EU spokesman's office, Peter Stano did not reveal when there is to be a high-level meeting, within the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

The next high-level dialogue meeting will be met in Brussels as soon as conditions allow”, says Stano in a response to Kosovas.

Unlike expert-level meetings, state leaders, Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq have not met since early September.
