According to statistics that the acting director of USKKUK has announced, Valbon Krasniqi 65 per cent of the 7297 registered workers are women, while 35 per cent are male.

Kosovo's Clinical and University Hospital Service has a total of about 7 thousand and 300 employees, including the University Clinical Centre and other regional hospitals. About 22 percent of them are doctors, or about 1612 are doctors, while about 60 percent of them are nursing staff, or about 4300, while the rest are support staff, including administrative staff and other services”, Krasniqi indicated during the interview on Telegrafi.

Although, by figures, there seem to be many employees in the public health sector, the Kosovo Clinical University Centre still lacks staff.

Especially has this lack been observed during the pandemic where the responsibilities have been forced to hire staff of various clinics to provide health services to patients in need.

The biggest demands are for additional nurses and nurses, but there is also a lack of professional medical staff, especially in the field of Anastasia.

Krasniqi has also announced the number of services performed within the year at QKUK and regional hospitals.

Some 7 and a half million different services are performed within a year in the General Hospital and at QKUK. Of them, for example, if we express them in numbers are 800 thousand days of healing, that is, hospitalized during a calendar year, or over 40 thousand operations are performed, out of them about 23 thousand at QKUKU and another 18 thousand at the General Hospital, about 20 thousand births are performed, offers over a million new ambulance visits, over 2 million other diagnostic services, 3 million laboratory money, so it is a wide range of service”, Krasniqi said.
