Sentenced to life imprisonment in 1987 after acknowledging the guilt of spying, Pollard was sentenced in 2015, Reuters writes.
The Department of Justice last month did not continue to prevent this person from travelling for five years. Some viewed this action as a farewell gift of Trump to Israel.
Netanyahu went out to the airport to meet Pollard and his wife, Esther, who kissed the land after the plane landed.
