Under this law, citizens are allowed to attract 10 percent of the savings they currently have in the Pension Savings Trust.
Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi said there are over 150 thousand private sector workers who will not receive a cent from the Trust.
He, in Klan Kosova, said it is because these workers have worked without employment contracts.
These statistics are actually real and there's nothing unclear about these statistics. The Independent Union of the Private Sector for years has announced institutions, the Labour Inspectorate and the Ministry of Labour that over 150 thousand private sector workers work without a job contract, and the moment they have worked without a job contract it turns out that in their retirement fund, there are no cents from<1>.
The head of the Private Sector Union stressed that, according to official statistics, there will be about 300 thousand workers who can withdraw from 0 euros to 100 euros.
According to official statistics we'll have 104 thousand workers who will benefit from 0 euros to 10 euros, and about 200 thousand workers who will benefit from 10 euros to 100 euros, so we mean that the amount from 0 euros to 100 euros will be about 300 thousand workers who will enjoy the right of retirement from the Pensional Trust”.
He said the state has been warned long ago of the poor situation in the private sector.
“We have handed the paperwork to the head of state, the prime minister and all prime minister have the paperwork on the table. We have announced that somewhere around 50m euros in Trust from the private sector lose and benefits private company owners”.
In some form, we've already said that under these packages they're benefiting those who have already benefited. Now private sector workers will see the real situation, what we've warned about before, and will certainly be disappointed at”
