12 police officials have died from COVID-19

12 police officials have lost their lives by COVID-19, while more than 1,000 have been infected since March, when the virus started spreading to Kosovo.

Kosovo police are denying that anti-Convidavid measures have not been implemented by them, even though months earlier Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti had declared these measures are not being implemented by inspectors and police officials.

“During this period within the framework of corruption-fighting police activities are 566 different operations, 930 local raids, and 65 operational plans. 1413 new cases have been worked, 862 cases, 205 cases have been held over the past years. 1369 people have been arrested for heavy works”, he added.

While, member of this commission, Mefail Bajqinovci stressed that Prime Minister Hoti has declared police officials are not complying with anti-pronged measures.
