Because of increasing the number of cases with COVID-19, institutions in the country have imposed new restrictive measures, with 29 new measures approved by the Government of Kosovo taking effect today.
For these measures, Health Minister Armend Zemaj says the new measures are meant to be in effect two weeks, but that depending on the situation they can be toughed in case of deterioration.
The Zemaj approach also says that new measures which are in force from today must be implemented rigorously and that caution must be added by all citizens as well as by foreign citizens, who live and act in our country.
Zemaj has made these comments at a virtual informative meeting he had with the ambassadors of states and representatives of donor organisations, the US, Japan, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Jordan, Qatar, the Office of the European Union, United Nations Agencies ( O BS, U NICEF, UNDP, World Bank), allegations that they remain important pillars for the successful management of Pandemia.

At the virtual information meeting with ambassadors of states and representatives of donor organisations, the US, Japan, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Jordan, Qatar, the Office of the European Union, United Nations Agency ( O BS, U NICEF, UNDP, World Bank), allegations that they remain important pillars for the successful management of Pandemia.
We discussed the epidemiology situation in the country, the results of actions, as well as the further steps the Government of Kosovo is taking to combat the Individual virus 19.
I stressed the need for continued cooperation and support, and for that I also took their pledge that support will continue.
Management the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Kosovo was highly praised by our partners and together we move on to prevent and combat the 19th Cavid virus.
We agreed that the new measures that are in force from today should be implemented rigorously, caution should be added by all our citizens as well as by foreign citizens living and acting in our country.
The new measures are meant to be in force for two weeks, but, depending on the situation, could be toughed in case of deterioration.
So far, we've got financial aid and protective equipment, credit for testing. RT PCR, device, ventilators, patient monitors, ambulances, beds, oxygen concentrations, medicine and other things of particular importance.
At the meeting, on behalf of the Ministry, Government and citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I expressed deep and sincere thanks for all the support that is part of our success in fighting the virus.
