The former head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Wessel, had resigned from all public and political functions on November 5th, the day the indictment was confirmed by the Specialised Chambers Prosecutor's Office.
He had indicated this resignation through a public statement, where he had said he had decided to withdraw from all public and political activities as long as his trial process at the Special Court in The Hague lasts, demanding that his position by all in Kosovo be respected as long as he is a private citizen.
It is learned that the same day, Kadri Wessel has also resigned from the mandate of deputy Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo.
In the order, Fadil Nura is expected to replace Veselin with the PDK Parliamentary Group.
