Vucinac for Association: The devil always hides in detail

Serbia's government held a specialmatic session dedicated to Kosovo today.

President Aleksandar Vuciq briefed the government cabinet on the flow of dialogue in Brussels with the European Union's mediation.

He said that the Serb municipal community is the subject of dialogue with official Pristina, and that, as he put it, “IKK always hides in detail”.

According to him, Serbia cannot accept the official Pristina position that association will be formed after recognition of independence, as according to him, '%ky is an unconditional obligation envisioned by the Brussels Agreement.

Serbia cannot accept that Pristina does not meet its obligations and that it is important for Serbia to recognise Kosovo's independence. They are dedicated to the association of Serb majority municipalities. This puts us in a situation where Albanians do not want a compromise solution. Recognition is meaningless for Serbia”, Vuciq said.
