All polling stations have been opened north of Mitrovica for the extraordinary elections for mayor of this municipality.
There are a total of 7 centres with 27 seats, while 23 thousand and 313 citizens will be able to exercise their right to vote.
The extraordinary elections are being held in this municipality following the resignation of President Goran Rakiq, due to his appointment of deputy prime minister and Minister of Administration and Local Power in Kosovo Government.
Otherwise, Milan Radojevic of the Serbian List, Florent Azemi i The PDK, Vetevendosje's Erden Attic and independent candidate Dusan Milunovic, are in competition for the president's mandate until next municipal elections due next year.
In this municipality, there are 45 polling centres with a total of 115 polling stations.
