Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has indicated that the CEC will enable even citizens affected by COVID-19 who are in a pre-eminence to vote.
We have issued two administrative guidelines that are key to the election process. One administrative directive concerns measures that should be implemented by voters, election staff and observers. The other administrative guidelines have to do with the way people have been identified who have proved positive for COVID-19 and who are in a pre-eminent and who cannot go to a polling site on Election Day. To that end, the CEC, after confirming those voters, will send election day to their mobile team's addresses so that these citizens can vote”, Elez said.
But what is the voting procedure for those who want to vote from proselytism?
The “Lists with which the CEC will operate include people on IKSHPK lists as infected citizens with COVID-19 over the period of November 15th to November 26th. The Municipal Election Commission in both municipalities will contact them over the phone and announce about the possibility the CEC offers”.
“Of course, the CEC has a constitutional duty to provide the opportunity for all citizens to realise the right to vote, of course we feel pity for those affected with COVID-19 and we are aware that health is above all, but this is an opportunity that the CEC offers, because it is the constitutional and legal duty of the CEC so that all citizens can vote. After we contact these citizens, it's their will if they want to participate in the elections. Mobile teams will go home, or their homes, until safeguard clauses are envisioned that will be implemented by members of the CEC mobile team, but also by voters”.
Elez has also shown anti-pronged measures. - CO VID-19 that will apply to the voting procedure at the polling stations in Podujevo and North Mitrovica.
We're already familiar with some of the measures that voters have to implement, we're mainly dealing with the physical distance of 2 meters that should be respected all the time, as long as at the polls it will be the leader and members of the deployment that will transmit the course of the process and will not allow to become the 48x1>
“After identifying voters with ultraviolet lamp, the voter will do hand disinfection, and then the voter will remove the mask to identify himself by the country member. Afterwards, the voter must sign in the book where he actually participated in the election process and eventually will receive the ballot sheet, where he will make his choice in the voting booth. As a safeguard clause at the exit of the poll, voters must re-influencing their hands”, Elez stated.
