Ismet Peja's name will forever be linked to Albanian stem song, with popular Albanian melos and musical activity Kosovo in general.
The sound of Basca Ismet through the hundreds of songs he brought skillfully, attended to the public for seven decades, was undoubtedly a monument to the popular song and Albanian citizen and artist with the full meaning of the word.
Baca Ismet in a lifetime devoted to the scene was present to the public even in the final months of his life. For worshipers of his song, his voice will always remain fresh and unforgotten, his always youthful and cheerful spirit because, as he himself said, "Rob grows old when he wants to be “!"
