Now, the authorities of Great Britain have decided to offer free vitamin D pills during the winter season for more than 2.5 million people.

Vitamin D helps keep bones, teeth, and healthy muscles, and many people have used it for years after many doctors recommend taking it. Now, British officials said that vitamin supplements will be distributed to people who are extremely clinically vulnerable and have lived at home.

According to health care officials, usually during the winter season, all should receive 10 micrograms of vitamin D per day. But this year, according to experts, it is most important because of the coronary pandemic, which affects certain body parts as well as the immune system.

Michael Holick, professor of medicine, physiology and biophysics at Boston University Medical School and his colleagues have studied blood samples from an American clinical laboratory, Queen Diaagnostics, of over 190,000 Americans from 50 countries. The analysis found that people who had a lack of vitamin D had 54 percent of the highest reformability of the coronary compared with those with adequate levels of vitamin D in the blood.

However, experts also warned against vitamin D toxicity and said that “is good when vitamin D is at a normal level, but many can cause many problems”.

Anna Kazaryan, a rheumatologist at the UCSF Fresno, advised people to check with their doctor to know the amount of vitamin D they need.

The British government stated that all homes of care in the country will receive sufficient supplements of vitamin D for residents. Those who are officially on the clinically vulnerable list will receive a letter inviting them to choose the vitamin D supply that will be sent to their habitat.

The supplement delivery will begin in January 2021, and people will receive additional additions for four months.
