Rescue search teams have managed about 34 hours after the strong earthquake hit the country, to lift the man alive. Ahmet Citim, was removed from the ruins in Izmir shortly after midnight Sunday and was rushed to the hospital. Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca wrote on Twitter what Ahmet has told him: “I never lost hope”.

We remember that Turkey and Greece were hit Friday morning by a magnitude quake, 6.8 on the Richter scale. As a result so far, 58 people have passed away, and about 900 others have been injured. Meanwhile, the search-saving teams are still in the collapsed buildings, to remove people still in ruins.

“If they are alive, we have great chances of going to them for 72 hours”, Deputy Chairman Fuat Oktai told reporters. God forbid, it's gonna be like this”
