“Treps” on strike, still not receiving October wages

Ghani Osmani, chairman of this mine's Workers Union, has confirmed for The KP that miners are on strike, suggesting the only reason for layoffs is wages.

According to him, since yesterday the second and third shifts have not worked and they have been added today to the first shift, while saying this situation will continue until this problem is resolved.

The only reason we're on strike is the pay month of October. We talked to the manager who told us that at the moment there are no means. We don't know when we're gonna get wages, but by then we're not gonna work”, Osmani said.
