For the first time in The Hague, Hashim Thaci had travelled on December 12th, 2019, while only a day after he had been along with Chelsea's former assailant, Didier Drogba in Monaco, to the international forum “Peace and Sports”.
Hashim Thaci had stated several times publicly that he did not accept an invitation from the Special.
But in the Special Court's report on Hashim Thaci's arrest request, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi's Jakup Krasniqi, the prosecutor has cited a T7 television interview for T7, on April 1, 2020, when he had declared that he was not interviewed by the Special Court.
I haven't been questioned, but it's perfectly normal with me. Even tomorrow an invitation comes, it's not my concern. Some 220 people were interviewed, no problem at all”, Thaci was expressed.
In the report drafted by the Special Prosecutor's Chamber, this statement by Thaci was quoted, saying he was never invited by the Special Court.

According to this document, already public, Thaci has been interviewed on 12 December 2019 in The Hague. Just a day after the interview he had traveled to Monaco where he met with the prince of Monaco Albert II.
However, in addition to Monaco's prince, Thaci in Monaco had also met prominent African attacker Didier Drogban.

Along with Hashim Thaci had been former Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli.
