So far, 115,794 people have been tested throughout the country, where 27.851 of them have been released with David-19.
The country has had 798 cases of virus-related death by the SARS-COV2 family.
The active number of cases in Kosovo is 10,191.
Meanwhile, the total number of cures so far is 16.862.
During the present day, the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that 963 new daily cases with the Corona virus have been presented in the country, this record of those infected within a day.
As a result of the large number of cases, the Kosovo government on Thursday has taken new measures to prevent the spread of COVIDD-19, which have entered into force Friday at 6:00.
Measures envision three danger areas, according to the number of those infected in municipalities: high - risk red areas, medium - risk yellow areas, and lower - risk green areas.
High - risk diseases are those that have over 150 infected persons in 100,000 within a week. Pristina municipality, Podujevo, Ferizaj, Gjakova, Gjilan, Peja, Fushe Kosova, Shtime and Obliqi are classified here.
In these municipalities, the entrances and exits of citizens and vehicles between 7:00 and 5: 00 a.m., in addition to emergency and health needs, excluding health, safety, justice and similar personnel from this measure.
Gastronomial activity is also banned during this period. Meanwhile, public transportation is allowed to work with 50 percent of capacity, respecting the Manual for Protection from COVIDD-19. Taxis will be allowed to work only with a passenger in the back or three if they are family members.
