At least seven people are believed to be dead, and dozens of others have been injured as a result of a series of attacks near a synagogue in the Austrian capital, Vienna.
Vienna police have continued the action on dozens of attackers believed to be armed and shot at people in the streets. It is believed that police have clashed with the attackers, while there have been different reports that some of them have even surrendered, It says Periscope.
One of the attackers reportedly has committed suicide attacks, and one has been shot by police. Even a police officer is reportedly seriously injured.
The attack took place hours after Austria went to shut-down, where bars and restaurants were envisioned by 12 p.m.
Shocking views have come from Vienna's streets, presenting terrorised citizens and panic after terrorist attacks. It is still unknown who is behind the attack while the media reported a message received by the Vienna police saying: I swear to Allah that you haven't seen anything from us yet.
German Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has described the attack as a terrorist.
He wrote in Titter that the Republic is going through a difficult time”.
We're going through a difficult time in our Republic. I would like to thank all emergency services that risked their lives just to provide us with”, he wrote, It's Periscope.
German Interior Minister Carl Nehammer told Austrian media The ORF can now confirm it's believed to be a terrorist attack.
The terrorist attack in Vienna has also condemned Kosovo political leaders.

Kosovo's Ambassador to Austria, Lulzim Plana, has spoken after the terrorist attacks that took place in Vienna.
We don't have detailed information from the police that comes out from time to time, so far we have no information that our citizens are victims from this case. We urge citizens to be careful, not to get on the street. So far we have no information that any citizen of ours could be a victim or injured. As long as we don't have anything official, we can't give any numbers. It says Periscope.
The Kosovo Embassy in Austria has earlier issued an announcement saying:
The embassy in Vienna begged all our citizens in Vienna, Center Zone 1 to stay in safe places. Austrian police report that from 20.15 in Lagen/ Bezirk One. Center of Vienna, shots fired and wounded. Authorities are working at dawn.
