On Monday, Telekom workers protested before the Kosovo government and decided to join the strike.

But then the agreement between Telekom and the company “Dardafon” was reached with mediation and guarantees also by the Government of Kosovo to unlock accounts, the PTK Union decided to suspend the strike.

While Telekom workers have not yet received their monthly salaries.

Telekom Workers' Union Chairman Lamih Balaj says they have been promised payment by the end of this week.

Although an agreement was reached, but that that agreement Balaj says they have not secured to see what contains.

“Management has pledged that salaries will be raised by the end of the week and that it is also working to carry out other payments and obligations, and especially primary ones that enable regular operating of the company. As for the deal reached by 16,11.20m, we have failed to secure the deal, but we will ensure that it needs to be made public and see what stands at”, Balaj said.

While saying that for no price will they allow the extortioner to be paid in the sweat of the workers, as he points out.

“The FSP-PTK will be brought before public opinion after the review of the agreement but has made it clear even earlier, but it is in recent meetings with government officials that they must take it for damages caused in Telekom, and at no cost will be allowed to be paid in the sweat of the workers, and I believe that all acters are clear. F The SP-PTK will keep media informed in progress for developments in Telekom”, he said.
