This party has hinted that it will not participate either in the table warned by LDK leader Isa Mustafa, with parliamentary parties where the possibility of an agreement on the election of president would be discussed.
Vetevendosje spokesman Kryeziu has told the Online Economy that the country must go to the polls and the new Parliament elect both Government and President.
He has said that as regards going to elections, there is no need for discussion only for approval, and Vetevendosje has granted approval for new elections.
“From what was reported on in the media, the purpose of this meeting or the table is to create a unity about finding a solution to the new president's issue. Our attitude is principled. There is no unity without legitimacy. There is no real choice. In both the government and the presidential position. Any solution aimed at avoiding elections is not aimed at improving the situation but at maintaining it. The election of the new president through the old and first-ever assembly means the continuation of the Hoti government. And we consider this government illegal and without legitimacy and that should go as soon as possible. So it's not a solution to the problem, it's a problem map. There's no need for discussion, only for approval. The approval for the new elections by LV already has”, Kryeziu said.
LDK leader Isa Mustafa has warned Tuesday of holding a session in early December with parliamentary political subjects, where an agreement to elect the president would be discussed.
But the PDK has been declared to this table. The incumbent chairman of this party, Enver Hoxhaj, has said that unity must first be achieved among coalition partners.
