Surroi's predictions: Elections to take place within three months

Publicist Veton Surroi has said it is no longer questionable whether there will be elections in Kosovo, but that the question is when in these three months they will happen.

Although in public opinion the perception has been created that if elections are held they will bring winner Vetevendosje into coalition with another party, Surroi says there is no guarantee of what the elections will create.

For failing to pass the Economic Recovery Bill, Surroi has said that the Government must find a common solution with the opposition, since it lacks the simple majority.

If the opposition votes a law, you should sit down with it and talk about where it should be intervened or before the opposition design, you should ask if you would like to back it”.

The surprise in a television debate has criticised investing in the Dukagjini highway until there is a major economic crisis in the country caused by pandemic.

“In time of dramatic economic downturn and in time of political crisis in the Dukagjin highway budget is spent 250m euros on land purchased. So that happens at a time when citizens are required to exit Trust 15 euros”.

Such a government investment was not Surroi's only criticism. He said the points with which Hoti government came to power did not include economic recovery after the pandemic.
