On Wednesday, Austria has noted dramatic increases in daily cases of COVID-19 infections and victims.
After the figures were slightly stabilised Tuesday with 5,984 new cases of infected persons and 58 victims, the figures rose much the following day, writes Austrian portal, “Heute”.
In the past 24 hours, 7,091 new cases of infections were recorded in Austria, and 109 people died from the coronary, according to health authorities' data.
Thus, the total number of pandemic victims in the Central European state reached over 2,000. During this period 5,944 were healed, which is less than the number of new cases.
Currently in Austria for coronarys in hospitals are dealing with 3,911 patients, 43 more than a day ago. During this period, the number of patients in intensive care departments increased to 682, 24 more than Tuesday.
A disturbing fact is filling hospitals and reducing the number of cheap beds in intensive care departments, Report Express broadcasts. This number fell for 261 and now is only 508, while the number of beds free in the common care departments fell for 1,431 and is now only 3.534.
