Supporters of President Trump are gathering in Washington in support of his statements of fraud in the November 3rd elections, although these claims are not based on facts.
A number of demonstrations are scheduled to develop during the day, one of them titled “A Million for MAGA” (President's phrase: We make America once again majestic; a demonstration of “Gs for Trump” as well as a protest with the title “is enough with stealing”.
President Trump has not conceded defeat in the election, although the media have declared the incumbent winning Benden. “Time will show” the president at the press conference said yesterday. He has insisted there have been irregularities in a number of wavering states, although officials who manage the election process in these states, whether of Republican party affiliation or democratism, have claimed there were no serious irregularities affecting the outcome.
Saturday's rallies have been promoted by conservative media figures as well as white nationalist organisations and are expected to face rival demonstrations with anti-racist groups and leftist organisations.
Right extreme organisation “Proud Boys” (Days Crenara) said some members will participate and that Alex Jones, the media personality of the portal with conspiracy theory “Infowars” will head a convoy from Texas that will take part in the “demonstration enough with theft”.
Similar protests have been reported in several American cities.
On Friday, the president commented on Twitter: “Heartening when he sees extraordinary support, especially with gatherings being organised throughout the country, including major demonstrations in Washington on Saturday. Maybe I'll go out and say hi to”
There is still no clear prediction on the expected number of participants. National Security Department official Christopher Rodriguez said at a news conference Thursday that he is aware of the plans, but that they are expected to be small groups. The office office stressed that acts of violence will not be tolerated during gatherings.
