The Act against Hashim Thaci was confirmed on October 26, 2020, as he was arrested by the Prosecutor's Office specialised on November 5th and transferred to the detention facility of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague on the same day, Kosovo reports
The Act charges former KLA leader Hashim Thaci with charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity, under international law, for various forms of criminal responsibility.
Former President Hashim Thaci's first presentation will be held at the public hearing.
During the first presentation, the prosecutor of the preliminary procedure makes sure the accused's rights are respected, among which the right to legal representation and that the accused understands the charges against him.
Also tomorrow, only at 11:00 pm, will former KLA spokeswoman Jakup Krasniqi be held at the Kosovo Specialised Chambers Trial Hall in The Hague.
He was arrested by the Prosecutor's Office specialised on November 4th and transferred to the detention facility of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague on the same day.
