Spain today authorized the beginning of the final phase of clinical testing of an anti vaccine CO VID-19, developed by the American group “Johnson & Johnson”, which will also be tested in eight other countries.
This test of the third phase will be conducted in nine Spanish hospitals, first, on volunteers who do not pose any particular threat to the development of serious forms of COVID-19, then on patients at risk”, the Spanish Bars Agency (AEMPS) explained, reports ATS.
These tests are essential to ensuring the quality, security and efficiency of vaccine”, added AMPS, stressing that the results will not be made public until all evidence is complete and analysed.
About 30,000 people, scattered throughout Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, Colombia, South Africa, the United States, and the Philippines, will take part in the clinical test of this vaccine, which will consist of two doses.
