The second round of Coronavirus testing at the level of all Slovakia faced resistance, so it was postponed for an indefinite date.
Prime Minister Igor Matovic said the second round was no longer scheduled for 6 December and 7 December, but would be held on an indefinite date, the DPA news agency reported.
Matovic is a great follower of the entire population's test, and in the first round, on October 31st and November 1st, 3.6 out of a total of 5.5 million Slovaks were tested. The second round will reveal the infected meanwhile.
But city and local leaders are resisting logistical difficulties in maintaining massive evidence, so they want them to focus only on tangible areas of the population.
Data Thursday shows that the number of infected people in Slovakia has slightly increased. Opposers of the mass testing said earlier that the latest drop in the new cases was due to a partial closure in October and had nothing to do with mass testing.
Turnout in the mass testing was voluntary, but anyone who could not show a negative test result was not allowed to go to work for two weeks.
