The AFAD say that after the quake, there were between 1 thousand and 286 contours registered, of which 43 are stronger than four, Anadolu writes.
It is also known that the number of wounded is 994, out of whom 839 have been released from hospitals after needed treatments, while another 155 still continue the treatment.
Turkey's Environment and Urbanisation Minister Murat Kurum said today that the number of heavily damaged and destroyed buildings has increased to 58.
We remember that on Friday, a 6.6-strong earthquake hit Izmir, Turkey's third largest city of about 4.37 million people.
So far, 106 people have been removed from the ruins as the last one was 3-year-old Elif Perincek, who was saved 65 hours after the quake.
