The head of Kosovo's Economic Ode, Berat Rukiqi, has said a second quarantine imposed by the government would be the end for many businesses.
He said that if there is no support from the government, businesses will not be helped by the damage the pandemic has done to them.
If we go back to medical analogy, the second one would have fatal consequences. A large part of them would be shut down and out of business. It is a global dilemma, maintaining health and the economy. Other countries have this challenge. But they have a more stable government system and businesses have saved their well-being and workers. I'm not saying the amount that workers in France get is here, but I expect quick answers. What I expect from the Government is that if we go with consultations, at least this economic curve can stabilise and the economy can be restored if there are adequate measures”, Rukiqi said.
