Now, a senior German virologist, Alexander Keku, said that the coronary virus that has been rampant worldwide is not originally from the Chinese city of Wuhan but a mutation from northern Italy.
Italy's type of coronary is called "GG" and has genetic mutations, explained Professor Kekule for ZDF television. Perhaps it will be more contagious than the version discovered in Wuhan, which was at one time the focus of the Coronavirus explosion in China.
More than 99 percent of coronary cases can be genetically traced to Italy's version and even current cases of disease in China are re-reported from Europe and the rest of the world, German news organisation Weser Courier confirmed by quoting virologist.
The expert also noted that Italy's long-standing ignorance of warnings from China and the lack of countermass should be blamed, otherwise, the original virus could be brought under control.
The deadly spread of the virus has created a major stir worldwide by infecting more than 61.7 million people and over 1.4 million deaths, while an effective vaccine is expected from the first quarter of 2021.
