In addition to these requirements, the OAK has also applied to have direct support for businesses and workers.

“The OAK once again demanded from the prime minister immediate removal of the police hour and restrictions or direct support for businesses and workers for the losses this decision is causing them by banning the right to work, a request issued by meetings OAK is continuing with businesses and complaints OAK is consistently accepting from business”, said in communique.

This has also required that certain demands of businesses be included in the Regeneration Law.

Full Communication:

The removal of movement restrictions and work schedules for businesses, increased disciplinary measures and enforcement of regulations all the time, to find ways to subsidize companies that increase the number of employees, including business recommendations in the law on economic recovery, to allow 2 billion euros in government investments and barriers that are facing businesses during the transition to goods across Serbia by not complying with agreements, were some of the issues that were raised at the meeting of representatives of the Kosovo Afarism Oda with Prime Minister Avd Houndti and Council Quant.

The OAK once again demanded from the prime minister immediate removal of the police hour and restrictions or direct support for businesses and workers for the losses it is causing them by banning the right to work, this requirement stemming from meetings OAK is continuing with businesses and complaints OAK is consistently accepting from businesses.

During this meeting, OAK representatives stressed that stops that are being made on the part of institutions are damaging business as much as heavy as a result of pandemic, adding that as a result of financial lack of support, businesses are unable to keep the number of employees they have had so far.

As for the Law on Economic Recovery, OAK was asked to include some business demands:

If the first subject is treated the same as being released from buying abroad, it should also be done in case of domestic purchase;

· To increase the funding for credit guarantees to 300m euros, thus offering access to loans with state guarantees and lower interest;

· To lower the interest rate from the CEC to 1.7%, being the only country in the region that has not lowered the rate regardless of the situation we are in;

· Tvs drop in food, tourism and hotel at 5%, thus simileing consumer growth;

· Subvention local production by 10% on market exit and export by 10% so that our products can come up with competitive prices in regional markets.

As for the Strategic Investment Law, it was asked by the prime minister that this issue be addressed with priority, since there are a large number of potential investators who are already awaiting completion of procedures. According to information from the MTI, there are about 2 billion euros in investments pending the profit of strategic investor status, which, due to bureaucratic procedures, are not passing as an investor has passed all phases and is awaiting the introduction of government collection day by the prime minister.

In this meeting, several requirements involving the BQK, including the return to the previous state of Guidance on the Integration of the Bonus-Malus System for people physically and law approved by the Kosovo Security Bureau General's Assembly regarding vehicle registration, the removal of the 58% interest in return of metal money to commercial banking carts, this obligation imposed by BQK, and the reduction of the tariffs to use of terminals, except for 1.3% from businesses, is now at least 0.3%, where we are aware of the highest rate in the region.

The OAK asked the prime minister that any decision taken to close the business should be accompanied by financial support in order to provide support in this regard.

Deputy Chairman Arsim Selmonmusaj stressed that government decisions are causing confusion in institutions that are obliged to execute, demanding that they be conveyed with proper clarifications so that neither citizens nor employees nor businesses are punished.

And the Secretary of Diamond Elshani said it is important to establish strict rules for which to apply precisely.

Prime Minister Hoti thanked for the meeting and unveiled some of the Government's commitments about management with global pandemic. Prime Minister Hoti stressed that they are trying to take measures to reduce the number of cases and keep the economy open. Also, it was said they are working on a new fiscal package, which will be executed by January 2021.

At this meeting OAK was represented by Skender Krasniqi as chairman of the board, Arsim Selmonmusaj é deputy chairman of the board, the Elshani secretary of the board, and Ibrahimi, OAK co-ordinator.
