According to the BBC, it was no ordinary American campaign. It developed between a pandemic once in a century and unprecedented social unrest.

He was racing against an unusual, challenging official of the president. But in the third bid for the presidency, Beden and his team found a way to sail on political obstacles and get to victory that, although narrow, is projected to exceed the national total of Trump by millions of votes.

These are the five reasons that the son of a car dealer from Delaare finally won the presidency.

David.

Perhaps the greatest reason Biden won the presidency was something completely out of control. Coronervirus' pandemic, as well as taking more than 230 thousand lives, also transformed American life and politics in 2020. And in the final days of the general election campaign, Donald Trump himself seemed to admit it.

“Boll me false news, everything is Coddy, Coddy, Coddy, Coddy”, the president said at a rally last week in Wisconsin, where cases have increased in recent days.

The media's focus on corruption, however, was a reflection of how much of the public's concern about the pandemic was translated into unfavourable polls for dealing with the president's crisis. A poll last month by Pee Research suggested that the Democrat maintained a 17 per cent advantage over Trump when it comes to the virus.

Pandemia and the subsequent economic downturn ousted Trump from his favourite message of campaign growth and prosperity. It also underlined the concerns many Americans had for his presidency, the tendency to question science, the occasional handling of large and small policies. Pandemia was a major weight in Trump's assessment, which, according to Gallup, dropped to 38 percent at one point in the summer ʹa thing that Biden's campaign used.

Fields without opening their mouths

During his political career, Biden established a good reputation by talking about various problems. His gaffet trend thwarted his first presidential campaign in 1987 and helped him not to regain his right to run in 2007.

In the third test for the Oval Office, Beiden had not yet improved verbal confrontation, but they were quite rare that they never became more than a short - term issue.

Part of the explanation for this, of course, is that the president himself was a steadfast source of news cycle noise. Another factor was that there were bigger stories of the coronary pandemic, protests after George Floyd's death, and the economic crisis ) dominated national attention,

But at least a certain merit must be given to a strategy co-ordinated by the Biden campaign to limit the exposure of their candidate, maintain a moderate pace in the campaign, and minimize the chances of fatigue or carelessness creating problems.

Perhaps in a normal choice, when most Americans were not concerned about limiting their exposure to a virus, this strategy would produce a reverse effect. Perhaps then the mocking shocks of Trump, such as the <x0m> sleepiness {Biden” would have worked.

The campaign tried to stay out of the way and let Trump be the one whose mouth betrayed him, and after all, she gave the right reward.

Anyone but Trump

A week before election day, Beden's campaign unveiled its latest television advertising with a message that was extremely similar to that offered at the beginning of last year's campaign and its nomination entry speech in August.

The elections were a <x0 fight for America's spirit”, he said, and a chance for the nation to come behind what characterised it as divisions and chaos of the last four years.

However, under that banner was a simple estimate. Beden put the political fate on the claim that Trump was very polarizing and very inflammatory, and what the American people wanted was a more calm and sustainable leadership.

I'm just exhausted from Trump's attitude as a person”, says Thierry Adams, a Frenchman who lived in Florida the last 18 years gave the first vote in the Miami presidential election.

The Democrats succeeded in making these elections a referendum on Trump, not a binary choice between the two candidates.

Biden's winning message was simply that it wasn't “Trump”. A common refrain from the Democrats was that a Benden victory meant that Americans could go for weeks without thinking about politics. It was thought of as a joke, but it contained a nucleus of truth.

Standing Center

During the campaign to be democratic candidates, Beiden's competition was made from the centre left, with Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who ran with well-funded and organised campaigns generating concert-sized crowds.

Despite this pressure from his liberal arm, Biden seized a central strategy, refusing to support government-run universal health care, free education, or a property tax. This allowed it to maximize the appeal of moderate and dissatisfied voters during the general election campaign.

This strategy was reflected in Beden's election with Kamala Harris for the post of vice president, when he could have chosen someone with stronger support from the party's left-hand arm.

The place where Biden moved closer to Sanders and Warren was in the environment and climate change probably counting on the youngest voters for whom these two issues have priority. However, it was the exception to the rule.

“It is no secret that we have been critical of the plans and commitments of Vice-President Biden in the past,” said Varshi Prakas, co-founder of the group of environmental activists “Agim” movement in July.

More Money, Less Problems

Early this year, Beden's campaign crates were almost empty. He entered the general election campaign in a disadvantage imposed before Trump, who had practically spent the entire presidency collecting a billion dollars.

From April onward, however, Beden's campaign became a fundraiser, and partly because of Trump's campaign ended up in a much stronger financial position than his opponent. In early October, Beden's campaign had $14m in cash more than Trump's, allowing him to bury the Republicans in a flood of television ads in almost every key battle state.

Money isn't everything, of course. Four years ago, Hillary Clinton's campaign had a considerable monetary advantage over Trump,

But in 2020, when the personal campaign was restricted by Coronavirus and Americans throughout the country spent much more time consuming the media, the advantage of Biden's money allowed him to reach voters and postpone the message to the end.

This allowed him to extend the electoral map, putting money into what once seemed like impossible states like Texas, Georgia, Ohio and Iowa. Most of those basses didn't generate votes, but he put Trump in defense, rejecting what was once conservative -- Arizona -- and staying very competitive in Georgia.

Money gives campaign initiative and campaign initiative, and Biden used his priority.
