Ramos: Kosovo has interest in Haradinaj being president that it does not make wrong decisions

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) continues to declare that the leader of this party, Ramush Haradinaj, is the only person worthy of the position of Kosovo president.

The mayor of the Decani municipality, which comes from the AAK ranks, Bashkim Ramosaj in an interview for Kosovo, has reaffirmed his party's stance that Ramush Haradinaj be president.

And Ramosj has numbered the reasons that the AAK chairman should occupy the country's first chair.

 “We as the Alliance have expressed our position and this attitude is fair and reasonable because I personally appreciate that in Kosovo now the leader of this state, or the position of the president must be of a man who is reasonable, just, a man who has a luggage and a past through the history of the leadership of this state”, Ramosaj told Kosova Pres.

Ramosaj points out that Kosovo has an interest in Haradinaj being president because of his seriousness.

According to him, Haradinaj could never make wrong decisions for the state of Kosovo.

 “Especially does Kosovo have great interest in Ramush being president and representing because of the level of representation because of his seriousness. More bluntly, Ramushi, if anything can do, cannot make the wrong decisions for this state”, Ramosaj stressed.

While the first of the Decani municipality in the interview has talked about the management of the COVID-19 pandemic with this municipality, what it says management with this situation is difficult but that all municipal mechanisms under it have done the best possible.

From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic so far, there are 304 residents of the Decani municipality who have been infected with SARS CoV2. Ramosaj until it tells of the increase in the number of infected people, says that concern is the test being conducted in private labs since it makes it difficult for him to have clear statistics on the number of infected.

 Even though the number in the Decani municipality is increasing recently from the beginning of the pandemic, so far over 304 are infected with COVID from these cases we have 86 cases that are active. We're always talking on the basis of IKSHPK statistics. But now the main concern is especially with private labs, which make a diagnosis of COVIED Political, and in this case we don't have the statistics of all these people diagnosed with COVID-19.

I believe that we are in normal conditions looking at other cities is the number, the tendency is increasing, but let's hope that this will be passed”, Ramosaj said.

Ramosaj also indicated that sometimes the main Centres of Family Medicine do not have drugs that are on the essential list.

There were also reports that drugs in Kosovo have expensived the Remdesivir drug. But according to Ramosj, the drugstores operating in the Decani municipality have not changed prices.

 I have very good co-operation with the drug owners because at times we have urged them to be careful about the price of drugs. But they also have a check from the inspectors not to have prices and abuses of this nature. We haven't imposed any fines in regard to the drugstores. We've met more than 7-8 times in this period of time, and we've been praying to them, but we've warned them, because the end of this city is all of us and we're operating in this city. There may be individual remarks, but I'm pleased with them in terms of their behavior with the product that they already market with”, Ramosaj says.

The situation created by COVID-19 has also hit businesses.

Ramosaj as he tells of the situation business faced in Decani also says that the municipality does not have a budget that subsidizes them, which the first in the municipality says has been addressed to the Government and various development funds.

 The business is the hardest hit in this situation. We have a trail behind the reduction of workers, and we also have companies that, for the sake of this situation, did not make the reduction with the number of workers behind them. We didn't have any municipal budgets that made me any subsidies for them. All we've been able to do has been expertise, an analysis of the time when we have an exact cost of losing these businesses during pandemic time. We have also turned to the government for other budgetary funds, whether European or various development banks, that will follow through on caution.
