Democratic Party Chairman in Albania Lulzim Basha has countered Prime Minister Edi Rama, who called “to account for the website of the Yellow House” in the report of former member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Dick Marty. Through a Twitter post, Basha asked Rama to quit political games and to answer questions about the situation caused by COVID-19.

“Edi Rama quit slandering and playing politics. Answer me why don't Steve 4 open it? Why did the infected lie in the ambulance and have no room for them?

He added: "Why the theft continues and let the sick die on the streets. After you destroy the economy, it's now taking life and health from Albanians”.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has in advance spoken of the former member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe report Dick Marty on crimes he claims committed to KLA members.

In addition to asking Basha for an account, Rama has asked former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and President Ilir Meta why they have voted in favor of this report incriminating the KLA.

Could you tell Albanians why you voted for Dick Marty's report, along with Sally when we voted against it? Can you explain what file you've been preparing for the Yellow House building with the Peruvian doctor to prove that you've collected the evidence with him?

Marty's report is the material with which the foundation for the establishment of Specialised Chambers in The Hague is established, known as the Special Court.

A judge of this court's preliminary procedure has confirmed the charges against four former KLA leaders -- former President Hashim Thaci, former Prime Ministers Kadri Veselin and Jakup Krasniqi -- as well as the head of the LVV Parliamentary Group, Rexhep Selimi.

They are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity. The indictment makes a plea to Thaci, Veselin, Krasniqi and Selimi for a series of crimes allegedly committed at several detention centres during 1998-1999. The specialised prosecutor accuses KLA leaders of being aware or should be aware of these crimes.
