That's what IQAir, Swiss technology company, is making known the quality of air. The air in Pristina is being classified on the basis of pollution such as healthy “”, which in case of inhalation violates vulnerable groups ( chronicly troubled persons in lungs, babies, pregnant women and the elderly).

So far, the air pollution index, according to the IQAir, has gone to 186 in Pristina.
The American Embassy in Kosovo has established automatic air quality measurement monitors, which measure pollution in real time.
The mayor of this municipality, Shpend Ahmeti, has not yet unveiled any concrete plans regarding improving air quality in the city.
However, earlier studies, including a Harvard University research, have considered that contaminated air doubles the mortality rate among coronary victims.
