PDK MP Blerta Deliu has again reacted to the special indictment of Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselini, as well as to bringing the latter to face the invitation for presentation at The Hague.
Through a Facebook post, Deliu has said Thaci and Wessel have shown an example, although they are facing a great injustice.
She has said both these former KLA leaders would respond to rumors that have circulated over the years, for them and for the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Deliu has called for representatives and heads of state in Kosovo to find courage and manage the new situation created in the country.
The next few days will certainly not be easy, while provocations will be the main weapon of those who want to push tensions for their own interests and others. But those interests are already identified, and anyone who becomes part of them is known the goal”, it has written.
Full Posting:
The president, the president and all others who travelled to answer the trial at The Hague set their example. Despite this great injustice, they were invited not to demonize the process nor the Special Court, but to be accepted as an opportunity to respond to the allegations and false rumors that have circulated over the years. Even within this great injustice, they found the courage to inspire tranquillity and wisdom and instead of bitterness to reflect discretion.
It is up to us, the representatives and the leaders of the people to find their courage and in their spirit to manage this situation by seeking national interest rather than fueling their own and party ambitions by exploiting crises as a possibility of restoration.
Of course, the coming days will not be easy, whereas provocations will be the main weapon of those who wish to stir tensions for their own interests and others. But those interests are already identified, and anyone who becomes part of them is known the purpose.
We need to act as soon as possible to find common language to create political and social unity so that we can cope with this situation with the calmness and discretion inspired by the president, the mayor, and all those who traveled to The Hague to protect our historic right to freedom.
For that we all know his name.
