As if violent clashes with police were not enough, German rightist supporters have managed to enter the Bundestag, invited by the right-wing populist party Alternative to Germany, the AFD.
They have reviled, offended, physically attacked Merkel's deputies, creating a rather unpleasant atmosphere. This scandal never existed before.
The alternative to the far right for Germany, AfD even compared the government's act of protection against infections, already approved by MPs, to the 1933 Persistent Act, which paved the way for Hitler's Nazi dictatorship.
Defenders of the measures say this law provides a more solid legal basis for maintaining social distance, wearing masks, mobile restrictions, private and public space meetings, leisure cultural activities and restrictions for educational institutions.
Germany, Europe's largest economy, was estimated worldwide to keep infection and death at a much lower level than its neighbours in the first phase of the crisis, but is now in the middle of a second wave, like most European countries.
Over the past 24 hours, there have been 22.964 new cases of Coddy and 260 victims in Germany.
