The blasts come two days before the conference held for Afghanistan in Geneva.
Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian said three civilians were killed and 11 were injured, but a health official said five troops and 21 injured were sent to hospital by the incident, Reuters reported.
Aryan said the “terrorists” had pushed the missiles through a small truck and exploded as investigations continued to find out how the truck had managed to get into the city.
Since peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban, attacks by Taliban and other extremist groups are on the rise, especially in the capital.
