Our interest and commitment to being part of the insurance vaccine against Coddy-19 is permanent. There are two communication levels is the COVAX consortium that we're part of since the beginning of the interest and through the OBS. The specific percentage is secure when it comes into use and we have a legal obligation to secure it and distribute it to citizens of the Republic of Kosovo”, Zemaj has said.
The first health comment has been made during today's visit to the general hospital “Sami Hadzibeqiri”, Mitrovica.
Meanwhile, the hospital has added that there are some difficulties in the infrastructure. While he requested that the level of responsibility and treatment be raised.
“The Regional Hospital has some difficulties even in its share of infrastructure, human capacities. We are also in favour of both levels now to see not only as fast as possible in the pandemic situation but also to meet basic needs for health personnel and services here to be advanced according to the needs of South Mitrovica. Need goes beyond that from what is known here is that health services are exploited for an entire region, and in this context we should always have the situation under control even in the epidemiological aspect. There are cases of infection both in this municipality and in the region being addressed. Fortunately, there are no cases that at this stage have ended with fatality. We requested that the level of responsibility and treatment rise just as professional ethics requires, we will carefully monitor this”, Zemaj said.
Meanwhile, South Mitrovica Chairman Agim Bahtiri said they are working together with the health staff to manage the situation, as cases are increasing.
We thank the minister who's come to us to deal with the problems that are going out the most every day and as such we're working together to manage as it is best”, Bahtiri said.
Hearts during the day also visited the Vushtrri Hospital and the SKKKUK.
