They say there's no electricity in Mattin 1 since yesterday. Reactions were also on social networks. Meanwhile, the head of the Pristina municipality, Shpend Ahmeti, has announced that according to information from KED, Matti 1 is the planned deadlock by 9:00, but believe that by 7:00, the current will be released. While on the Sun's Coast, there is debacle that, according to the KEDS, is close to sanitizing and stabilisation expected by 1600.
Even KED, through a communique, has clarified that it has mobilised many teams to help KO. STTTIn at Sun Coast.
“KEDS has mobilised dozens of teams from the ground, who are assisting the KO teams. STT at substation 110/10, Pristina 2, KOSTT's property, so that the power supply will be returned to the earliest possible time for a considerable part of the Sun Coast neighborhood”, the communique says.
Regarding the lack of electricity, Vetevendosje Movement deputy Victory Pacolli has also reacted. She wrote on Facebook that's when the corrupt, captured state creates monopoly and carries ownership from it to a private company, which in interest only has the increase of its capital, while citizens leave at the mercy of owners and interests of private companies.
The KEK distribution was privatised (read: forgiven) with the argument that electricity supply will be regulated. Today, many of Pristina's neighbourhoods have been without electricity all day. The Sun Coast is out of electricity for about 20 hours. Most dwellings without electricity remain without water. In pandemic time, the cold remains without electricity and water. We were told that the performance of the distribution is weak and to improve it must be privatised. That's the kind of performance they were talking about? Where's the performance today and yesterday? When citizens are late to fulfil their obligations to KEDS, the company stops power supply. And unless the citizen has to pay the citizenship debt, he has to pay for the key service. And even when KED has to update client data into the system, it doesn't try to contact the client, but it makes the client's break off to quit his job, appear at KEDS offices, cut off his turn and give him the data to update company data. And then he has to call a couple of times and maybe he ends up doing 48 hours without power until the company has time to relock.
And what does KED pay now that has left many people without power, caused economic damage, prevented us from doing our daily jobs, and many have been without heat and water? Does KEDS pay citizens for the damage it has done? We were told that the performance of the distribution is weak and to improve it must be privatised. This is the best example of performance improved by improving and empowering the rule of law, not by selling public assets. Today we have no choice but to file charges against each citizen. KEDS”, she wrote, adding that KEDS should compensate each citizen for the damages it has caused.
