Limaj: My fellow warrior Hashim Thaci will turn up fair

Limaj has said Hashim Thaci will come out well from this process.

“Since the end of the war, it has sometimes been demanded that leaders and soldiers of the Kosovo Liberation Army face international justice institutions and those in Kosovo led by international prosecutors and judges, and there has never been a chance of anyone trying to evade justice. Despite the individual and family suffering that have co-operated in itself these processes, I have full confidence that my fellow warrior, the president of the country. Hashim Thaci and all the other indictees, the KLA's war will be dignifiedly protected and will eventually come out of this” process, Limaj has said.

Limaj has said that under these circumstances true leadership should be shown.

“How serious the injustices are against individual and collective fates that are done and are being done against freedom fighters, we must show real leadership under these difficult circumstances for our state. It is the last moment that we co-ordinate our actions to testify that we truly place the interests of our country above individual interests. Co-ordination of our policies at these very important moments would send a clear message to our citizens and our international friends who want the good for the state of Kosovo. Only united and putting the interests of the state of Kosovo first, we will face with dignity all the challenges we are facing, he has said.
