LDK seeks presidential post, Haziri: If we settle in December, we go to the elections.

LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has said the time has come for the LDK to take office of president.

He has said political instability is already in the president's office and that solutions must be found on this issue as soon as possible.

“V- The LDK, that country has been won despite internal reports with Vjosa we have changed after the elections. If I were to ask, the time has come for the president to take over the LDK, but even further away we are not wanting to become selfish in our political demands and we are thinking that with internal dialogue we can find a common name for this” position, he said at KTV.

Haziri has added that if there is no name for president during December, then political power should be seen to set the election date.

If we don't have a name for president during December, then we have political power to set the election date. The choices in time pandemic is not easy to hold but we need to see the option”, he said.

Gjilan Mayor Lutfi Haziri has said the LDK has experience of good governance, while stressing that they have no internal problems.

“The LDK has no internal problems, but we are at the forefront of government. Governance is what needs to translate the programme and political commitments into action. The opposition has the ease of criticising”, Haziri has said, adding that parties in the coalition should respect the agreement to the end.

We have experiences of good governance and government with problems, trouble. What I deeply believe is that both the Alliance and the Initiative, both the Serbian List and the parties of other groups represented in Government at the moment have built a governing formula they should respect together to the end so that they can deal with this pandemic situation because there is economic downturn”, he said. “Never connected these important decisions such as the economic recovery that people are looking forward to, we've entered the winter, if we keep delaying another week, two weeks the possibility that the government by package is then losing the reason to pass this package”, Haziri adds, demanding reflection from the opposition as well.

Haziri says they have not talked so far with anyone about the president, and the LDK is not interested in causing delays and slippages leading to instability. He has stressed that there are no concrete names for the president.

“The LDK has not discussed its names or other names. We've been brought into this process with more moral code because of what Mr. Thaci in the office wanted us to respect the president's authority. We haven't talked about the name yet, but it is seen that the mood of political parties is for names inside the party at the moment. If the parties withdraw from the party candidate LDK welcomes it, we don't mind”, Haziri has said.

According to him, if the president's case isn't resolved, then he's going to the elections.

But do elections produce stability in the future. Once again, the possibility arises that after the election the Parliament, besides the executive, will even elect the president. Because you know that if in 40 days you don't get to elect the president again the parliament is distributed”, Haziri has expressed itself.
