On the 20th anniversary of the assassination, Democratic League of Kosovo chairman Isa Mustafa commemorates the LDK event, Xhemajl Mustafa.
Mustafa says today it is 20 years from the Maccabre murder of one of the LDK founders.
“Today takes place 20 years from the Maccabre murder of one of the founders of the Democratic League of Kosovo, intellectual and writer, Xhemajl Mustafa. Xhemajl Mustafa belongs to the pleade of activists who spared nothing of themselves to live the centuries-old dream of freedom, state and independence. This trinomous was the motive that kept the work and the unique commitment of the wise and verbal man alive until November 23, 2000, when he was shot to death by people who were hampered by the national commitment of Xhemajl Mustafa”, president Mustafa wrote.
He has sought justice and the putting of criminals before trial.
“After 20 years, the intellectual and courageous family, Xhemajl Mustafa, the Democratic League of Kosovo, his friends and associates, demand justice and the putting of criminals before trial. Glory to the life and deed of Jemajil Mustafa!”, he writes away.
