He was appointed chairman of the EULEX Court Assembly in 2014.
And during his term, Malcolm Simmons is claiming to have seen many irregularities in the cases this mission handled.
Thus, after six years, Simmons is expressing himself ready to address members of the Commission for Legislation in Kosovo.
The former judge in his letter sent to this commission, has said he could testify for interference in criminal investigations, threats to protected witnesses and juro-rigging.
Simmons says he is willing to declare himself before the Kosovo Parliament on all issues speaking on paper, saying there is also evidence.
And his willingness is appreciated by the connoisseurs of justice.
According to Ehat Miftaw of the Kosovo Institute for Justice, the data it offers can clarify many processes that are stuck in Kosovo.
According to Miftaw, Simmons's request is legitimate.
Former head of EULEX judges, Malcolm Simmons, was ready to come to Kosovo to testify to the mission's major irregularities, in particular in the “Drenica 2” case even years ago.
