Kosovo will benefit 360,000 free vaccines from the World Vaccination Alliance, known as COVAX.
The Kosovo Ministry of Health told Free Europe Radio that the rest of the vaccines, Kosovo will buy it by its financial means, when they are on the market and allowed for use in people.
Kosovo has been in talks with the World Health Organisation and international partners for several months. The World Vaccination Alliance has introduced Kosovo among the free beneficiary states of 20% of the amount of vaccines, or 360,000 doses of vaccines against COVID-19, which causes the new choreography”, says a health ministry statement.
